Renowned for his ability to drive complex transformation programs and build high-performing global teams, Venkat has consistently delivered results in dynamic and diverse economic, political, and regulatory environments. He is deeply passionate about nurturing talent, fostering innovation, and ensuring seamless execution.

After graduating from Mumbai University and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Venkat began his career as a consultant with KPMG Associate Firm. He later joined Citi as a Management Associate, embarking on a career that spanned nearly 10,000 days and included progressively senior roles across the Private Bank, Retail Bank, Markets, and Transaction Services.

In addition to his corporate roles, Venkat has engaged in entrepreneurial ventures and advised fintech firms, developing a reputation as a thought leader within the financial technology ecosystem. More recently, he served as Senior Executive Advisor to Mphasis Corp in New York, supporting their business development efforts.

Venkat is a member of the Betteredge Investment Committee, Management Committee, and Advisory Board. Outside of work, he is an avid sports enthusiast and an active market observer.
