Nazem Abdul Wahab, Senior Relationship Counselor at Betteredge Capital, joins from Citi Private Bank, where he was a seasoned Private Banker specializing in delivering client-centric wealth management solutions to prominent families in the Middle East, with a focus on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Before joining Citi, Nazem held leadership positions at Alistithmar Capital, a subsidiary of Saudi Investment Bank. He served as Head of Wealth Management - Advisory, overseeing institutional and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) client services until 2017. Prior to this role, he was Head of Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, where he led the structuring and fundraising efforts for various equity and real estate funds.

Earlier in his career, he gained valuable investment advisory experience through roles at CIBC Wood Gundy and Bakheet Investment Group.

Beyond his corporate career, Nazem co-founded and co-managed Trend Central Inc., a flash-sale e-commerce platform based in Montreal, Canada.

Nazem holds a Degree in Economics with a minor in Political Science from McGill University. He is certified with the General Securities Qualification Certificate (CME-1) from the Capital Market Authority in Saudi Arabia, as well as the CSC and CPH certifications from the Canadian Securities Institute and the Investment Advisory Diploma certification from the CISI Institute in the UK.
