Tim Bowring, Private Equity and Real Estate Consultant at Betteredge Capital, has over 35 years’ experience in The Real Estate and Financial sectors, where he has focused predominantly on advising private clients on their direct real estate assets, and their Private Equity and Real Estate investments in the Alternatives space.

During his 20 years at Citi ,he was Head of Private Equity and Real Estate Research and Management for Asia, UK, Middle East and Africa where his role was to manage a team to deliver, research and structure a diverse range of high-quality investment ideas for clients. Additionally, he advised clients on their Direct commercial real estate holdings. He was a member of the Alternatives Investment Operating Committee and the EMEA Investments Leadership Team.

Prior to Citi, Tim was a Partner at Weatherall Green and Smith (now BNP Real Estate) where he advised both institutional and private clients on the sales and acquisitions of commercial real estate and the building of diverse portfolios.

Tim qualified with honors from University of Westminster with a Batchelor of Science in Estate Management and is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Outside of work Tim has travelled extensively and is a keen mountain biker. His great passion is classic cars, and spends much time repairing, driving and showing his car at events around the UK.
